English Class

Some days I make really cool artwork to try to explain to my students what on earth I am talking about. Today was not one of those days.

"Street! Car! Brrrooooom- brooom!" .... "Street. House. House number."
"Address is house number, then street. Yes?"
(laugh, shake it off... make a nifty rhyme to help them memorize)

 In other good news, I made up a pretty cool jazz chant about tall trees and short trees... since I'm from Arizona where there are short trees, and one of my students spent last Christmas in California where there are tall, tall Redwoods. Hooray for learning opposites!
