Distance: 638 miles
Time: Mmm... like probably 12 hours? We left at 7 and got in pretty late... this is still just crazy to be going this fast.
What happened:
- We (Brett, Melissa, Tom, Carol, Dariya, Midas, Landon and I) packed up the support van and Tom's car with all our remaining stuff and a bunch of bikes to ship and drop off along the way and started the trip back towards Georgia... oh, and also we got medals! Good stuff!
- We stopped along the way to drop off Carol and Dariya in Seattle... and we gave Carol her final big, huge group hug, which she thinks she hates but is actually getting used to, I'm pretty sure. :-)
- Then we drove for a long, long time...
- Eventually we got to Boise and settle in with a FCBA friend Martha Spiva and her family who fed us delicious chicken tacos and gave us some lovely, soft carpet to sleep on.
